(These cars are real NASCAR racers, probably retired.) You are assisted into the car and strapped in. (The run procedures seem quite complicated at first, but do not worry, you have ear buds while in the car and are talked through everything by a professional spotter.) Once through the briefing, you may have a short wait until your pager goes off to get your helmet and be assigned to your race car. After that, you are briefed with your group as to the rules and how the runs are to be conducted. Once you get there, you are signed in and provided with a racing suit and pager. It was a great experience and one that I am determined to do again. My daughter and daughter-in-law wanted to try driving these cars and so I went also, not at the time really wanting to.
